I love my new Dopod 810; but I had to send the girl back.
Ho hum... better luck next time: which should be in a few weeks, after Divya gets back from her offsite in England.
Unfortunately, I had to work for most of the time Luke was visiting in Hong Kong. Many of his first days were rained off - but he made a good go of things. In the evenings I took him dining at my favourite "local" HK style cafes. The HK style French Toast has to be seen to belived. (Diabetics and those with mild heart conditions, be warned). We sampled some Macanese cuisine as well as a lazy evening in watching Bladerunner with some Thai takeway.
On Saturday, we had a real beauty of day. Thirty+ temperature and 90+ humidity: perfect weather to roast a chicken. I took Luke along to one of my favourite haunts: Lamma Island. A twenty minute ferry ride from Central, Lamma is Hong Kong's third largest island and offers a nice ambling walk from one end to the other. Sadly we were too stuffed from our Fly Up (not a typo) we didn't sample the seafood on offer.
